Referral Process

NRS Child Contact Centre accept referrals from Local Authorities, Solicitors, private clients and (self referral for supported contact only). The following process will be followed:

Supervised Contact:

An initial telephone call to check for room availability must be made to the Centre Manager - Mandy Sutherland on 020 8690 9010.

 

Referrer must then complete a referral form with associated risk assessment documentation

 

Once the form has been returned fully completed contract room and worker will be booked and confirmed

 

NRS will complete full risk assessment on family and allocate a suite accordingly

Supported Contact:

Referrer must then complete a referral form with associated risk assessment documentation

 

All self referrals will be interviewed and a risk assessment will be conducted

 

NRS will then make a decision on acceptance of contact, initially on a trial basis to be reviewed on a monthly basis

 

Rooms will be allocated based on the risk assessment
