NRS Child Contact Centre’s aims are to provide a safe and neutral private space in which parents, family members and children can enjoy spending time with one another to either re-establish relationships or continue to build on the relationships that have already been established. This will be achieved by:

  • Providing a private space with professional impartial staff to support both children and adults
  • Support and encourage parents and children to engage with each other
  • Support parents and children in re-building relationships
  • Respect the uniqueness of the children/ren and their parents
  • Provide a confidential environment
  • Provide quality impartial written reports evidencing the content of contact (Supervised Contact only)
  • Develop professional relationships and working boundaries with families, local authorities and professional bodies alike
  • Work to the codes and guidelines within the National Association of Child Contact Centres
  • Provide factual and accurate written and verbal feedback to appropriate Stakeholders
  • To work within the guidelines of both our, Safeguarding, GDPR and our Equalities Policies
